I think we need someone to take point on attacking the RES position that they were using grey tools to do white work. It's a weak stance, easily attacked, and now that they're buying in to it en masse it's appropriate to yank that rug out from under them.

the guardian badge isnt a big deal, focus on strategic play. - then why did 800+ agents participate in a sophisticated system to deny them?

this system was used to catch spoofers - then why is it structured with specific commands for finding someone to kill guardians?

Any noble minded attempts to address spoofing would have been A) xfac, since datahasnocolor and b) shaped to prevent misuse

Bad press I think is the best angle for this. Pokemon has countless people spoofing and building maps through the bot-mesh. Ingress has the broker's guild - why cant Niantic curb cheating in their game is an excellent article for a magazine. When a magazine sends a request to Hanke asking that... it'll get attention. G+ posts do nothing. pleas for bans do nothing.
