- Aneristic (PHL) I agree with this. I also think we probably need to explain why it violates tos and what tos means. I've had way too many players try to tell me agents are violating tos by deploying more than one 8 on a portal or doing things that are actually impossible. People don't know the tos.

I added this as a suggestion to the very beginning of the draft post doc:
The Ingress Terms of Service [link] prohibit the use of βautomation software, bots, spiders, crawlers, data mining tools, or hacks, tools, agents, engines, or devices of any kindβ to βextract, scrape, or index the Services or Content (including information about users or game play)β. Downloading information in bulk from the Ingress scanner or intel map, or βscrapingβ, is a violation of the Ingress Terms of Service.

There's a doc being revised; I made a bunch of changes/suggestions but I don't know if people like them. I think Semi's still asleep. That's here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1fERELXXix5B1QIgqc0QeTgPvQ5j-7_62nykRaTQ7vSg/edit?usp=drive_web
Erich sorted out the images and put them here: https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/0B4vJMsAqJgF1Z0dYOXhFYlJ6VFU

"An additional function called RADAR enables Resistance agents to receive automated real time alerts on intel triggers, such as:
β links over 20km thrown within 30 minutes of checkpoints
β mod deployment (specifically VRLA)"
Since these are examples I'd rephrase the last part to
- mod deployment of VRLA
- Aneristic (PHL)
"Authorized agents also have access to an application called Omnivore, which allows them to launch bot interfaces elsewhere to further propagate this scraped data."
It's a subset of the authorized agents for RIOT right? Maybe "Some authorized agents"? Since not exactly parallel to previous population described with "authorized agents"
- Aneristic (PHL)
In "The functionality that drives these features and their use are clear violations of the Niantic Terms of Service. While this particular group has been in operation since October of 2015, the underlying service and database have been active for over 3 years."
is "this particular group" really "this particular Slack"?
- Aneristic (PHL)
[[Webpage]]The thing I was being annoying about before I went to bed looks good, thank you. I might change the first "agent" to "player" in this paragraph
RIOT is a database application that aggregates information extracted from ingress.com/intel and agent scanner data and makes it available for agents to search
- Aneristic (PHL)
Radar page: this paragraph looks like it could be rephrased, looks a little copy pasted
For instance, it can alert you when an agentΒ links over 20km thrown within 30 minutes of checkpoints, or any field thrown over a certain mu threshold
E.g.
For instance it can alert you when an agent throws a link over 20 km within 30 minutes of checkpoint.

I'm almost done.
Riot...one: most visited does not require a hyphen
God this thing is damning.
And we don't have to be careful about listing our clearers in sitre ps if res are tracking clearing this way this universally.
Hunter: extra space before one of the uses of agent. May be clearer if we add enemy or opposition or something so the two agents in the paragraph aren't confused.
Mods: Erich left a comment in to himself that he needs to delete and implement
