- Busy day at work, but I can't wait to catch up with this backlog....

- Sorry, I arrowed down a bit.... But WOW that list. I scrolled straight down it to look for the local res big dog I assumed would be there and of course he is. Such an ass. But I recognize a few other names as well.

- So did I see we should add AO if we know it? Just don't add/delete/ sort, right?

- Ok!

- I marked the ones I know, too. Someone marked thebobs as possibly Delaware, but he is Charlotte. Interestingly he was also once accused of using a server at his job to run a big scraping operation. Someone was threatening to call his boss about it.

- Yeah, he's kinda famous here for bad behavior

- I saw fdog there....he is always the first person to speak to me in comms when I pop up in Toledo on family visits. I've heard he's rather hated there....

- Lol I got that impression too. He even says hi to me when he's passing thru my area on his way to Myrtle Beach

- I am

- True. To the average agent you wouldn't show up.

- Lol πŸ’š

- [[Webpage]]I'm a work and a bit behind on the chatter today, but I wanted to share this..... TheBobs is on this list, as I knew he would be, and here is some info on him and his scraping from awhile back. He's a Charlotte player. https://www.reddit.com/r/Ingress/comments/4lwm62/advice_with_dealing_with_out_of_control_local/

- Another player eventually got the scripts from this poster and led to the IP address being TheBobs work computer. Said computer also contained health insurance info and was a potential for major HIPPA violations. All of this was reported to Niantic at the time. No ban, no nothing.

- YES! She deserves some, and a lot more!

- πŸ”” done!

- Maybe that's a better bell-ringing!

- Right?

- What's left? Get your popcorn supplies ready.... Tomorrow is indeed going to be interesting!

- Slightly off-topic, but those of you watching The Good Place will appreciate the irony of these "mean giraffes"....

- Maybe, but I'd have at least clicked thru them to clear the notifications!

- He's Charlotte area and known GH, spoofer, scraper. He was one of the names I specifically looked for on the list

- I'd vote for more, if anything!

- One of my best friends/ local frog got invited to an ENL guardian hunting slack by some people she knows in NJ .... She isn't into that sort of thing, so she doesn't know much else about it. Unsurprised but still sad face :/

- Good to know. I just hate hearing proof it exists even though we know it does, ya know?

- Maybe instead of calling out the vanguards individually, just say ".... Including some Vanguards, ...." And make the word Vanguards a hyperlink to the G+ post announcing their names. Still calls them out, but in a slightly less in-your-face-finger-pointing manner. And also give a bit of info for anyone living under a rock that doesn't know about the Vanguard program.

- [[Webpage]]Here is the link to the vanguard announcement so you don't have to go looking for it. https://plus.google.com/+Ingress/posts/1rMyk5Y7peN

- Aw damn, probably so then :(

- Yeah, he sucks. It would be great to get a shot of him doing the query on these and possibly @Crewellye 's :(

- Statesville - that place needs to die

- And that's putting it mildly..... Jesus

- Surely someone has mentioned this, but holy shit @theprevaricator , YOU ROCK!

- Thanks for everything everyone is doing for this πŸ’š

- I love how collaborative this has been with different people jumping in with different skill sets and contributions. Amazing πŸ’š

- I'm working from home tomorrow anyway, so I will get everything done early to have plenty of G+ time!

- I think for my local slack I'll just start with an @ everyone and the link. "Please read.". I'm pretty sure the discussion will take off on its own from there.

- Yes, I will push them to do this

- [[πŸ‘ Sticker, size 48'250 bytes]]

- Good plan and thank you @Intoku ! πŸ’š Goodnight all!

- And even if they are in there for that reason, it's going to be guilt by association unless they have some sort of proof that is not the case. I know we should all try for innocent until proven guilty, but the typical human gut-reaction is the other way around.

- So the burden of proving his innocence will be on him, if he's able.

- Then he can show us some acceptable proof of that being the case.

- And it better be rock-solid if he wants to truly clear his name. But that only matters if he is there for some legit reason, which a very small possibility.

- Oh, I completely agree he won't and probably couldn't even if he wanted to and had something to show. But that would be the only way to distance himself from this train wreck. Since that won't happen either way, he's going to get swept up in the guilt by association thing.

- As probably will happen with some others that were there but never used it. I'm sure there are a couple of those. Too bad. If you're a passenger in the get away car from a bank robbery, it doesn't matter that you were just getting a ride home and they happened to be going your way.

- How did they know to contact you?

- Ah, ok, true

- Well yes, we should have been told but I'm happy as hell if this means Niantic is actually DOING something

- They should have frigging thought of that before getting into it in the first place!

- I still agree with 1pm unless Charlie joins us sooner

- Yes, I'm glad they are taking action, but it has to be more than this. This has to be only a first step.

- Don't read, too long. Riot is offline. Looks like preemptive strike by Niantic. We went to release now but we're waiting for you @Semiotiq

- Woohoo!

- Yep, I have done the extremely rare @ everyone in my local slack and they are all freaking out asking if they can share. Yes please! Not just secure groups, share everywhere

- I'm sure it is LOL

- Day late and a dollar short on that one

- @RevDegen you are apparently recording a very long voice message.....

- Lol

- Again , there are going to be some people that are collateral damage. But they were hanging out with the wrong crowd.

- I really don't care if they get banned or not, so they can individually deny it all they want. To me the bigger point is to show how widespread this is. To not let Niantic keep acting like it doesn't happen or it's rare

- To effect meaningful change in the broader sense.

- That is what I want from this

- Oh the Charlotte Res are entertaining....

- And case anyone needed proof Medic84 really is a giant asshole....

- LOL classy

- Geez....

- You missed my SS of him in a local xfac group....

- Yep

- Oh, more from Medic!.....

- Yep

- Yep!

- Yeah, I should.... All 3 of those things....

- I think it's more nothing but ass lol

- For bans to happen, yes, I would imagine we need actual use. But I hope they are also seeing the bigger picture here

- Well yes, very very nice in many cases!

- Well officially, but we kinda rained on his day off

- LOL

- Lol

- Geez, guilty much?

- Will it become a status thing now in the Res to have been "On the List"

- Thanks for a million things @theprevaricator

- I like it

- Oh yeah, well my dad can beat up your dad.... Wtf? Is he 12?

- Good job taking the high road.

- Never argue with idiots. They just drag you down to their level and they beat you with experience. They have way more experience at being idiots!

- Ha! I like that one!

- Oh no @TheRealVedorian ....

- God, people are just awful sometimes

- Good idea. Ty

- One of my favorite local Res (yes, an actual good one!) likes to tease me and pronounce my name as "sclori" like 1 world starting like "sclerosis" or something, instead of "SC Lori". I told him he made me sound like a disease... He said "yeah... I know.". LOL

- While I think it's true that it's hard for a large group to keep big secrets, I don't think anyone here directly leaked anything to the Res. We intentionally gave Krug a heads up that something big was coming. We handed over a preview of the site and our info to NIA Ops when they requested it. I can imagine a scenario like this... NIA Ops to employee on list, "hey, you wanna explain what your name is doing on this list that's going to go public in a few hours?".... Employee to Res buddies in the Guild, "Guys! We're about to get busted. My boss just called me in the office and I told him our cover story of helping to catch those mean spoofing ENL. Shut it down right now!".

If we tell Niantic, and Niantic is in the Guild, then that's how the Res found out. No leak from us required.

- Every one of them knew they were doing wrong when they joined that Slack. And I buy the story they were there only for research purposes as much as I buy the we only use this to catch spoofers bullshit.

- If they really were doing research, why were they sitting there idling watching shit tons of ToS breaking behavior go on all around them and just allowing it to continue?

- Or this could be complete and utter bullshit and subterfuge.....

- True. Either way, Niantic needs to say something. Either say it's true and attempt to explain, or publicly deny false accusations.

- TheBobs... Geez. This is the one I mentioned that was using a work server that also happened to contain health insurance and HIPPA protected information. I have a Charlotte local that probably has more information on this situation. He's been on a personal anti-cheating crusade for quite awhile.

- SkyBlast L16 ENL

- @PappyDeLong you probably know how much he has been on an anti-spoofing campaign against Jay lol

- No probably not more than in inside person, but he has lots of history of what's gone on here and knows what's going on in Charlotte. Plus he's an IT guy, so he understands the tech parts. LOL

- Yeah, he's an admin along with me in our slack ;). I know him well. Lemme grab it

- That's excellent, thank you!

- I'm not sure I like the part about if it's with niantic's blessing then fine. Because it's really not fine. But they definitely do need to say something one way or the other.

- Oh I I think it should definitely be mentioned. But maybe something more like there are claims of Niantic's blessing in this, but since Niantic has yet to confirm or deny...yadda yadda

- Sorry I'm a few posts behind. Real life has gotten ahold of me for a few minutes.

- Definitely call them out though and the fact that we are all waiting for a statement

- So all the names that were on the list were all just busted publicly and one of their higher-ups essentially called them lowbies.... Awww....

- All those poor little Smurfs. I'm sure they're happy to be taking the fall for their higher-ups that aren't named.lol

- Yeah, I thought he'd have more recent evidence

- LOL excellent

- Well, that was more of an intentional leak

- I have no idea what he got removed from but I'm sure he does need a break at the least. He's been working super hard for this.

- The only person I talked to was my friend that Erich talked to last night from Charlotte. Erich used an anonymous HO name to contact him and I did not give any names. The only person's name he has to connect with this is my own. I'm sure leaks are unavoidable at some point, but really hate to think of it coming from this group. I trust all of you to the highest degree, that hasn't changed and won't until I have specific evidence to not trust someone.

- I know, I just wanted it said and out there to make sure no one had doubts about that. My friend is a person outside of this room and we all know I talked to him last night directly about this stuff. So just making sure there were no doubts that he spread any names. πŸ’š

- .io is the thing that does the !met thing, right?

- We don't use it here, but I signed up because when I was in Atlanta someone wanted to mark me as met. For points or something lol I really have no clue

- Guess I'd better to get out of it

- This is scary and sad :(. But agreed, maybe best to end this. We do still have work to do, but we did a hell of a lot and I'm proud to have worked with all of you on this πŸ’š
