- And even if they are in there for that reason, it's going to be guilt by association unless they have some sort of proof that is not the case. I know we should all try for innocent until proven guilty, but the typical human gut-reaction is the other way around.

- One of my favorite local Res (yes, an actual good one!) likes to tease me and pronounce my name as "sclori" like 1 world starting like "sclerosis" or something, instead of "SC Lori". I told him he made me sound like a disease... He said "yeah... I know.". LOL

- While I think it's true that it's hard for a large group to keep big secrets, I don't think anyone here directly leaked anything to the Res. We intentionally gave Krug a heads up that something big was coming. We handed over a preview of the site and our info to NIA Ops when they requested it. I can imagine a scenario like this... NIA Ops to employee on list, "hey, you wanna explain what your name is doing on this list that's going to go public in a few hours?".... Employee to Res buddies in the Guild, "Guys! We're about to get busted. My boss just called me in the office and I told him our cover story of helping to catch those mean spoofing ENL. Shut it down right now!".

If we tell Niantic, and Niantic is in the Guild, then that's how the Res found out. No leak from us required.

- Every one of them knew they were doing wrong when they joined that Slack. And I buy the story they were there only for research purposes as much as I buy the we only use this to catch spoofers bullshit.
