Hey, friends. I think I'm going to back out of this thing now. You all are doing fabulous work and I don't really have the bandwidth to be much more then a passive observer at this point, considering what next steps are likely to involve. Love and support to everyone here and the project, keep fighting the good fight. 💚 Please feel welcome to remove my access to documents of course (honestly I've hardly looked at them anyway) and I'll catch you all on the next awesome project! hugs

While I think it's true that it's hard for a large group to keep big secrets, I don't think anyone here directly leaked anything to the Res. We intentionally gave Krug a heads up that something big was coming. We handed over a preview of the site and our info to NIA Ops when they requested it. I can imagine a scenario like this... NIA Ops to employee on list, "hey, you wanna explain what your name is doing on this list that's going to go public in a few hours?".... Employee to Res buddies in the Guild, "Guys! We're about to get busted. My boss just called me in the office and I told him our cover story of helping to catch those mean spoofing ENL. Shut it down right now!".
If we tell Niantic, and Niantic is in the Guild, then that's how the Res found out. No leak from us required.
