- yea, I think thats the easiest best outcome

- Highlight important names somehow, bold or color

- I need that list still

- Link if you want me to find posts

- Most-visited does need a hyphen here.

- Holy shit, finished backlog

- I will get

- You're a trooper lol

- It was....Jesus

- There's a bar on the ferry though. That is helping

- I would love to help however I can, but I have zero website build experience. If there is anything a pleb like me can do to help point me at it.

- find me social media posts where niantic mentions the players on the list

- for deadly annotation

- Rgr I'll start searching

- I'm pretty much offline till after 5, but just want to voice my vote of confidence and say you all are awesome!!

- I just jumped to the bottom this morning. Is there still stuff to examine/review? Just checked email again and I don't see anything about previewing the site.

- elliot, try just browsing to brokersguild.wordpress.com

- and request access if you dont get in

- all single images are now galleries

- I *think* I got all of jillians changes

- but I am not sure

- Regarding the table: If there's any way to use html, we could make the default text positioning centered and then individually move the agent names back to the left. It'd be a pain in the ass but I could help with it

- Cool. Email and any user/pass? Or should I use something anonymous?

- it wont matter

- no one can see you except me

- and when it goes public its expunged

- Roger. Thought that was the case.

- Thanks.

- i fixed it

- I see that now

- :)

- Sent.

- Sent as well @theprevaricator

- i got chris, havent seen elliot

- Some thoughts on it:

1) The Niantic dev: I have a weird suspicion on this. Hear my weird ass out....I think maybe he's supposed to be in there. If you're trying to figure out what people are doing to get into your data, what better way to do it? But that's just a possible thought. I truly don't know.

2) While under my current contract and NDA, I am limited in certain respects. So I'll be assisting the broadcast of this message from behind the scenes.

3) I think it's good that Andrew was informed and not blind sided. I think it validates what is about to happen as a revelation of truth and fact, instead of a blitz attack on the Res. I know some may want to politicize this, but I think doing so will dilute the impact. The data compiled can stand on its own. By not using the information as a weapon, we put ourselves in a more defensible position. "We're not out to destroy the core Resistance. We want to effect change and reveal the tools being used to negatively impact the game."

4) I agree that personal info shouldn't be released. I'll delete names I added if someone else hasn't already.

5) I had something for this but now I don't remember.

6) I already have a target on my back, for many reasons, from both Res and Enl. Not the least of which is my current assignment with Niantic. As such, I choose not to give anyone a bigger one. With that said, I do not wish to engage the WB

7) The site looks good Erich. Thank you for your hard work.

- Did I miss anything?

- @theprevaricator just tried again, any luck?

- 1) I think Nadia may be right on this; however, the optics is still bad. It wouldn't be the first time an outsider observer's presence was read as tacit permission.

- got you

- It was a thought I had late last night, but wasn't really sure

- It might be a valid possibility, but I have NO IDEA how we might vet that

- Am I the only one were the top toolbar slides down from the top on every page?

- It would be damning if the WB could get ss of that dev pulling portals

- Activity from them of some kind

- Something that shows they're an active participant and not just a silent observer.

- Right I hear ya. We would have to hope they do something active before publication and we get the ss

- Correct

- That would be awesome

- Can anyone who's interacting with WB ask for specific ss on just him?

- Some kind of user history?

- I too am puzzled by the dev being in there. I've been conteplating possible angles ever since I found out. @Catw0man1 may have nailed it, the dev is in there to see what they're up to.

- (I'm not a slack person. Don't even know if that's available)

- I think they wipe the history in the chat after 48 hours

- And she's not an admin of the slack

- Rgr

- It's really pretty well done, they're elegantly secure.

- You can search Slack for the username, but if they haven't done anything within the last 48 hours I think that it clears the slack

- Gotcha

- But why would Niantic "go along with it"? That's what puzzles me.

- Collateral damage for the greater good? I have no idea

- As much as I like to have conspiracy theories I don't think the antic as a whole would be behind this it's a singular person

- And again, I am just guessing. I honestly don't know

- But I wanted to consider the possibility

- Hmm...

- It just seems like unnecessary exposure to me

- Does anyone know what he does as a dev?

- ๐Ÿ‘

- Like, is he graphics, coding, what?

- And even if they are in there for that reason, it's going to be guilt by association unless they have some sort of proof that is not the case. I know we should all try for innocent until proven guilty, but the typical human gut-reaction is the other way around.

- You know, I was thinking about it, if they were really secure, they would have it in their sop to change your name once you get approved to be in to stop something exactly like this

- Right

- Because they want people to know in the hopes of normalizing it?

- So the burden of proving his innocence will be on him, if he's able.

- Wouldn't they then have to say that they were in there collecting data on all these asshats for bans? Then they would have to follow through.

- Then he can show us some acceptable proof of that being the case.

- And it better be rock-solid if he wants to truly clear his name. But that only matters if he is there for some legit reason, which a very small possibility.

- I think It should all be third person. WB wrote in 2nd person and I hadn't figured out the tense yet as I was editing and condensing. Apologies

- I donโ€™t know if it is helpful but perhaps reminding people just because someone is not PRESENTLY in a channel doesnโ€™t mean they were not in it at some time - all the channels we have information for are open. Itโ€™s clear the expectation is that if you have access to this slack then โ€œyouโ€™re in on itโ€

- hes not going to show us anything

- it will get handled behind closed doors at niantic without any satisfying response ever

- ๐Ÿ‘†

- because thats how they do things

- BAAAHAHAHAHA...๐Ÿ˜‚

- Again, I might be way off base, but the thought had ran through my mind and I thought it fair to share it.

- That's all.

- This is a good point, I'd missed that.

- absolutely fair.

- I agree with most of Nadia's points; I want to be free to react to this rather than posting the initial wave because politics, although it's probably unrealistic to think people won't figure out my involvement.

- It is, especially considering we'll be getting the opposite argument: "I'm just in it, I never use it anymore"

- If the release is handled as discussed and WB/Krug keeps quiet about The Whoโ€™s there shouldnโ€™t be anything to directly connect any of us to it.

I know thereโ€™s IFs in there but imo thatโ€™s why we designed the release the way we did.

- ANYMORE

- Oh, I completely agree he won't and probably couldn't even if he wanted to and had something to show. But that would be the only way to distance himself from this train wreck. Since that won't happen either way, he's going to get swept up in the guilt by association thing.

- > @TheRealVedorian
ANYMORE

I get it, but even some of us were leaving some channels we once were added to but never use. Nothing of this scale granted, but cactus and poptart were and are real things ENL players are in channels with (and use).

- As probably will happen with some others that were there but never used it. I'm sure there are a couple of those. Too bad. If you're a passenger in the get away car from a bank robbery, it doesn't matter that you were just getting a ride home and they happened to be going your way.

๐Ÿ’ฏ

- I requested access to the wordpress thing

- ok, so I added notation for anomaly POCs, vanguards, niantic affiliated, and agent olympiad based on our notes to the main post

- I hate to say it, and I love my northern allies, but I think they are Europe lite โ„ข when it comes to scraping and gray area tools.

- however, I cant support the POC or niantic affiliated statements
