While I think it's true that it's hard for a large group to keep big secrets, I don't think anyone here directly leaked anything to the Res. We intentionally gave Krug a heads up that something big was coming. We handed over a preview of the site and our info to NIA Ops when they requested it. I can imagine a scenario like this... NIA Ops to employee on list, "hey, you wanna explain what your name is doing on this list that's going to go public in a few hours?".... Employee to Res buddies in the Guild, "Guys! We're about to get busted. My boss just called me in the office and I told him our cover story of helping to catch those mean spoofing ENL. Shut it down right now!".


If we tell Niantic, and Niantic is in the Guild, then that's how the Res found out. No leak from us required.
